Republicans and Democrats have proven themselves to be different sides of the <strong><em>same coin</em></strong>...same unsecured border, same mushrooming Federal government, same War built on lies, same escalating Federal debt, etc. etc. etc. America will begin to get righted when this nation begins to vote between the "best" of 4 or 5 candidates rather than the "better of 2 evils" the Cartel give us. I timed many of the questions and I don't believe one hit the 20 second mark for length of question, so that estimate is conservative. Either you want input in a townhall meeting or you don't. It was obvious no input was desired or allowed. Allen West made a commitment to do these townhall meetings and he should do them the way they were originally intended. Give pleny of time for input. Otherwise, these will start looking alot like Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz townhalls where they are highly controlled by having her staff pick from 3 boxes of "pro Wasserman Shultz/Democrat" "anti Wasserman Schultz/Democrat" and "neutral" so she can stack the deck 2 to 1 with softball questions. It just so happened that some of the "anti" questioners did not respond so instead of picking another person from the same box she skipped it several times and really stacked the deck. She also only wanted a quick comment or question - no real input. Wasserman Schultz has clearly lost the understanding that she works for We the People - not the other way around. Wasserman Schultz also recently "selectively" announced her townhall on April 20th at 10am. No one that I know that is on her mailing list received anything regarding this townhall. Oh I know there was a tiny paragraph on the third page of the local paper the day of the 10am townhall but most did not read it until the townhall was already over. Vivian in Wasserman Schultz's local Pembroke Pines office admitted to me today that they did not send emails out regarding the townhall but rather just told some local condominiums about the townhall since "they wanted it to mostly pertain to medicare issues". I would just say that I believe Janique and Scott are church volunteers and not part of Allen's staff. And Barbara, he has not dodged that question. He has answered on TV, Radio, and at previous Townhall events. Recall is a bit extreme, don't you think? I do have a problem with him stating he is Pro-life yet is okay with an abortion for someone who is raped. He needs to meet Pam Stentzel and the many others who have made great contributions to society that have been conceived in rape and their mothers did the right thing. Great story and point Mark.
